The snow has fallen extremely hard to the point that schools have been closed today and two of our kids had a bit of a journey home from their respective schools. Morgan's was around 3.5 hours from Norwich and Genny had a wait of an hour or so for her bus to turn up and then another hour on the bus. Ben was ok, his school closed at lunchtime and is just a walk down the road (Brian did that job, my bones are having a paddy).
I managed to get some cards made, I think the mojo came along and gave me a big bite! They are just simple ones and didn't take long to make.
This one is made using some dsp punched using the petites pennants builder (122361 £15.50), simply layered up and I added some gems (rhinestone basic jewels 119246 £4.50).
Using some scraps from the birds of a feather dsp (126899 £9.95), bakers twine comes from the 2013 Sale-a-bration simple sent card kit 'happy hello'.
Using some left overs from the kit that is in the 2013 spring summer catalogue (released 1 Feb), I've made this one, added some dsp (birds of a feather) and the lovely flower trim.
Last one for now. A 6" square card using some of the tulle, ribbons and the large scallop punch. The soda pop top is in the forthcoming catalogue.
That's it for now. I'm just going to schedule this post to come up in the morning as it's 22:45 and I need to pop some more painkillers and endeavour to get some sleep as I can't get comfy at the moment <sigh>.
May the crafting mojo be with you!
